Travel Tryouts 2011-2012

 

 

 

At the time of tryouts, all players must have a completed FBBA recreation application with the appropriate payment (Jr. Div. $110, Sr. Div. $120).  Copies of player’s birth certificate must accompany application.

 

All those interested in trying out for a travel basketball team in Fast Break Basketball's Travel program, please see the schedule below for your age group.  At the time of tryouts, each candidate will be assigned an identifying number.  If you are chosen to participate in the travel program, your number will be posted on the Fast Break Basketball website after tryouts are completed.

 

NO player will be chosen for a travel team if they are not evaluated at a tryout session.

 

Program Particulars:

Ø      Program runs from December – March, practices start end of October

Ø      Practices - one to two per week/ per team

Ø      League Play - each team will be playing in one to two leagues

Ø      Tournaments - each team will be playing in two tournaments

Ø      Fees – include Uniform, Leagues & Tournaments

Ø      Tryout Requirements – bring completed Tryout Registration Form (listed below), and a copy of your child’s birth certificate (not original)

Ø      In order to determine your correct age group, please see chart below

Ø      Maximum number of players per team is 10

 

Travel Teams:

Ø      Co-ed   –    U9, U10, U11, U12, U13

Ø      Girls      –    U9/U10, U11, U12/U13

 

Divisions:

U9      (born after 7/31/01)

U10    (born after 7/31/00)

U11    (born after 7/31/99)

U12    (born after 7/31/98)

U13    (born after 7/31/97)

 

Tryout Schedule (PLEASE BE THERE 20 MINUTES EARLY TO REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS):

 

Monday, June 20th at Churchill Jr. High School:

 6:30 PM - U9 co-ed & U11 girls

 7:30 PM - U12/13 girls & U9/10 girls

 8:30 PM - U12 co-ed

 

Tuesday, June 21st at Churchill Jr. High School:

 6:30 PM - U9 co-ed & U9/10 girls

 7:30 PM - U11 co-ed, U12/13 girls & U10 co-ed 

 8:30 PM - U13 co-ed & U11 girls

 

 

Wednesday, June 22nd at Churchill Jr. High School:

 6:30 PM - U10 co-ed, U11 co-ed, U13 co-ed

 8:30 PM - U12 co-ed

 

Parents will NOT be allowed to stay in the gym during the tryouts.
